Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where are you located? Do you have a storefront?
A: Our bakery is located in Historic Downtown Branson, in what locals know as "the old Chappy Mall." Our address is 204 N Commercial St #210 Branson, MO 65616. We are next to Revive Juice Co. and across from Puff Smart. Our building sign is on the way, but delayed.
Q: What bakes are available for walk ins?
A: We believe in serving fresh baked goods rather than using preservatives, which means our daily case is fresh, but limited. We bake early due to summer heat, so once something sells out, it is unavailable until the following morning (order ahead to ensure you get what you want). Daily case inclusions are vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, chocolate bundtlettes, cinnamon rolls, and slices of banana breakfast cake. We ask for large orders, such as dozens of cupcakes to be purchased online, over the phone, or in person, 48 hours ahead of pick up. Orders must be paid in full at the time of placement. See next question-
Q: How do I make a larger order or cake order?
A: Purchase larger orders, such as dozens of cupcakes and muffins, and signature cakes from our online menu. We believe in providing fresh baked goods, and ask for 48 hours notice for large orders and Signature Cake orders. Prepaid orders may be picked up during normal business hours.
Q: Can you accommodate allergies beyond the ones you list (wheat, eggs, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts (except coconut), soy, fin fish, and shellfish, seeds, corn, yeast, nightshades, and oats?
A: We are unable to accommodate other allergies due to the risk of cross-contamination.
Q: I see you are dedicated free-from peanut, but what about legumes?
A: It's true we never use peanut in our bakery. Guar gum, which is derived from a legume (guar beans) is an ingredient in our cinnamon roll glaze, vanilla glaze, and our ganache.
Q: What sweeteners do you use?
A: We use cane sugar. We also use honey in our marshmallows.
Q: Can you bake sugar-free, low-carb, or Keto treats?
A: We do not bake sugar-free, low-carb, or Keto-acceptable desserts.
Q: Can you substitute ingredients, or create a recipe for me?
A: We are unable to adapt recipes, or create new recipes at this time.
Q: What ingredients and suppliers do you use?
A: You can find a list of all the ingredients and where we get them on each individual product listing on our menu.
Q: Are your desserts organic, and non-GMO?
A: While we do try to use organic and non-GMO ingredients, our top priority is safety from the top food allergens in manufacturing and packaging. There are some amazing organic ingredients on the market that use shared equipment with top allergens. In such cases, we will go with non-organic choices from companies who have safer manufacturing facilities and practices. We disclose all of our supply companies on our menu product pages.
Q: Do you deliver?
A: We do not deliver at this time. On a case-by-case basis we may be able to deliver to an event venue, but we are unable to complete set up/break down.
Q. Do you ship?
A. Our plan is to ship cake mixes, as well as muffins, cinnamon rolls, and a selection of other treats nation-wide beginning in August. It will take us a bit of time to learn to do this efficiently, affordably, and safely, while retaining all that delicious flavor and freshness we are known for! We will keep you updated on this timeline on our social media sites and in our newsletters.
Q: Do you make custom cakes and character cakes?
A: We are able to create custom cakes when allowed ample time. Contact us with your vision at least two weeks ahead of your event, as planning and creating custom cakes takes extra time. We will email you a few options and corresponding quotes within three days. Custom cakes require a higher volume of our signature ingredients, or specialized ingredients, and extra time to plan and execute. For these reasons, we ask that you pay for your order two weeks in advance. We do not offer licensed character cakes.
Q: How long do your desserts last?
A: We do not use preservatives in our fresh baked goods, so advise eating them within a week of purchase. Most of our items are available in small quantities to help with the short shelf life. Cakes, cupcakes, bundtlettes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and marshmallows will last longer if refrigerated. Warm cinnamon rolls back up in the microwave or low temperature oven. Other bakes can be brought back to room temperature on the counter before serving. Pies must be kept chilled! Our frostings will melt in heat.
Q: Can I freeze my bakes?
A: We've had customers report great success with flash freezing our cupcakes, muffins, and cinnamon rolls. We do not recommend freezing pies or marshmallows. Flash freezing instructions.
Q: What if I don't like my bakes?
A: We want you to like your bakes, so we make vanilla and chocolate cake samples available in our bakery almost every day. We invite you in to try before you buy. Please also read our Return and Refund Policy before purchasing. Thank you!
